Computerliebe 2004

Gestern hab ich in der U-Bahn zufällig zwei Jungs zugehört, die über ganz banales, alltägliches Zeugs plauderten. Ehrlichgesagt weiß ich schon gar nicht mehr das Thema (es ging nicht um Computer), aber die Unterhaltung war durchsetzt mit Computer-Slang. Für meine Eltern hätte ich das ganze erstmal decodieren müssen :)

Kein Problem für mich... ich hab alles verstanden.
Mach ich das eigentlich auch? Mmh...wenn ich jemanden vom selben Schlag vor mir habe...ja!
Wie wär´s zum Beispiel damit:

Der Host war mit Software nicht geizig - und so haben wir gesaugt bis irgendwann der Stream abgerissen ist.

Es ist immer dasselbe: erst verschlechtert sich die Auflösung, dann fehlen mir wichtige Daten auf der Platte. Obwohl... ein bisschen was hab ich noch im Cache.

Als ich dann heute morgen gebootet bin, hätte ich am liebsten gleich alles formatiert. Ich weiß noch, daß ich mir SuSE auf den USB-Stick gezogen habe - warum muß ich mich eigentlich kurz vor Datenverlust immer verhalten wie ne Beta-Version? Bin ich im falschen Mov?

Mist, ich bin definitiv der falsche Benutzer... hoffentlich hab ich mir keinen Trojaner eingefangen...
Überhaupt kann ich mir gerade nicht ganz erklären, wie SuSE auf mein System kommt - is so gar nicht meine Plattform.

Natürlich hat sie mich heute gleich angepingt...und sie war ziemlich instabil. SIE: "Ich bin keine verdammte Demo-Version!" ICH: "Du mußt gar nicht so auf Kernel-Panic machen...das Programm läuft bei mir nicht... ". Habe ihr dann gesagt, daß sie erstmal ihren Prozessor kühlen soll und daß wir nicht kompatibel seien. Das gibt wiedermal ein mieses Rating...

Wenn mir der große Hersteller auch nur ein bisschen KI verpasst hat, bin ich erstmal gepatched für die nächsten Tage... aber die nächste Lücke kommt mit Sicherheit...«
