George W. Bushs Webseite wird von Hackern attackiert – soweit nicht sonderlich spektakulär. Wie sein Lager damit umgeht ist auch nicht neu: Holzhammer.

In diesem Fall bedeutet Holzhammer, daß man versucht, die Bösewichte auszusperren. Man bedient sich dabei der wunderlichen Methode, nur Surfern aus vertrauenswürdigen (Vereinigten) Staaten den Zugang zur Seite zu gewähren (vertrauensunwürdig ist somit der Rest der Welt).

Getreu dem Motto »Erst schießen, dann denken«, denn technisch gesehen ist die Aktion völliger Bullshit. Diejenigen, die in der Lage wären, George »Pfusch« Dot Com zu attackieren sollten nämlich auch befähigt sein, die vermeintliche Kontinentalsperre zu umgehen.

»Handlungsfähigkeit« ist eines der großen Schlagworte dieses Wahlkampfs – vielleicht hat man deshalb erstmal gehandelt. Was mir zutiefst unheimlich ist. Spielt eigentlich die Handlung selbst noch eine Rolle oder geht es allgemein nur noch darum, möglichst schnell und entschlossen zu reagieren?

Alles in Allem ist die Webseiten-Attacke kein großes Ding... aber für mich eben der so unsympathische »New Way« einer Regierung, deren Handlungsweise mir affektiert vorkommt.
Man scheint nur an die eigenen Möglichkeiten zu denken. Nicht an die Folgen.
Dann denke ich: »Hoffentlich machen WIR nicht irgendwann einen folgenschweren Fehler...«
